Ok so this is a great topic to talk about as I am a driver for Uber. I think Uber is a great company to work for and I love the fact that I can work when I want too and make extra money when I want too. The freedom of working for Uber is nice and I don’t have to push a clock every day. Right now I drive on Friday nights and Saturday nights cause that’s when I have the time to drive and in my area it’s the best time to make money driving for Uber. During the day I make a lot of money, just on holidays and weekends to where the money is at is that’s a good tip for you is use when you drive for Uber.

I would say right now I make around $150 to $170 every weekend and that would include the promotions that Uber has and any tips that I get. Some night I make $100 to $75 dollars and sometimes weather play a role.  I love the fact that I get paid every week or on that same day. Lets talk about renting out your car. There is a site where you can rent out your car and that site is called  https://turo.com/ and on this site you can rent out your car to someone else. Now I not used this site or I have never rented my car out before but I have done a lot of research on this topic.

On Turo you can rent out your car for day or a week. Depending on the type of car that you have will tell you how money you can make. Now looking at the site, the higher end, exotic, luxury cars makes the money on this site. https://turo.com/ has Tesla’s in my area going from $96 to $100 per day. They have a Porsche 911 2015 going for $400 per day. The best way to see how much you can make is to go to the site and enter in your area and your car to see what other people are renting their car out for. Now how comes the work.

On turo, you sign up to rent your car out. So far I have seen that you must clean your car inside and out and take great pictures and upload to the site. So there is some work to get going. You post your pictures and wait until someone sends you a message. The person will then come to your place to pick you your car. While watching the video, The person who rented the car was very nervous and didn’t want anything to happen to their car and I would be too but they are fine and the car came back in one piece with no problems. So you wanted to rent out your car, please do your own research before doing so. Who makes more money, driving for Uber or renting your car on   https://turo.com/ there are other sites but I just picked this one.

Do you make more money driving your car for uber or having your car rented?

With all of that being said,  Who makes more money, Renting your car or driving for Uber. Think about this, the goal of money is to make money without working it. I like driving for Uber but I would say renting your car is better than driving for Uber. With Uber, you have to drive, pick up people and drop the them where they need to go. Some days you can make a lot of money and some days are just slow and remember the weather play a role with Uber cause less people will be going out  and driving in heavy rain is no fun.

Also you will be driving for hours taking up time. On the flip side renting your car is better cause it’s passive income. The only thing that you have to do is clean the outside and inside of your car and take pictures and post them online. The person drives your car and you make money. While they have your car, you can be doing something like working your full time job or building up a business. The person with more time can make more money. So while they have your car for 4 days, you can be doing something while your car becomes a money producing assets. So renting your car is better than driving for Uber.
