Starting any business is hard but an online business I think it’s even harder due to the amount of people, product, services and programs out there in the world and the online business space is always changing. I remember when I got started and I had no clue on what to do. But things always change so in this post I will tell you what things have changed, what to look for in the future and what is the best way to make money online that just work.

Why it’s so hard to make money online:

The number 1 reason it’s so hard to build an online business is that some people don’t want to do the work or people wants to make money online but don’t know where to start. See people wants that push button software that will pull money into their bank accounts. People don’t want to put in the work to make any money online and trust me it’s a lot of work. There are too many ways to make money online like blogging, YouTube, all the social media networks, paid traffic, amazon FBA, selling your own product and many more ways.

I have a ban wagon problem where there is a new one to make money online, I tend to jump on that and leave what I was doing before or I put in enough time with the one thing I was doing to make it work. I think 90% percent of how to make money online paid programs only teach people paid traffic or social media tricks to get traffic. I remember my first program I brought from clickbank which was called Google Sniper and google sniper in a nutshell taught you how to build these small sites based on keyword that’s in a product on clickbank. Google sniper wanted you to write 3 to 4 300 or more word blog post and a product and you will rank on google.

Well that program didn’t last long cause Google updated their engine so those sites got wiped out. I was freaking out cause this is my first product I brought online to teach me how to make money online and it didn’t work anymore so that’s a problem with a lot of people buying something that may not work. The way people make money online always changes and it’s hard to keep up with that so that way it’s hard.

I have done this in the past, I just kept on learning and learning and I don’t take action. Check this out, you work 9 to 5 or whatever you work, you look up ways to make money online and then over time it’s time to go to bed for work. Then the next day you come home and look up more stuff and user reviews of products and then it’s time to go to bed. It’s a bad cycle and it’s hard to get out. Then the online space changes and then you want to read up on the changes so you will never take action, this is what happen to me.

My advice, pick one thing that you want to do to make money online and stick with that one thing. I doesn’t matter what you choose, just work it every day nonstop. That’s what I had to learn and it took me a long time to learn that.

I know some people like myself have a hard time on choosing what to do online cause we don’t know what we want to do? My advice is this, pick something that you know a lot about or pick something that you want to learn more about. Go ahead and learn that one thing and as you learn you can teach other people what you have learn. That’s one way to make money online.

You are not building online assets:

Most how to make money online programs don’t teach you building online assets. An asset makes you money or it can work on its own without you being there and I didn’t know that 4 to 5 years ago. See after the Google sniper flop, I looked other places to find info and most of the info I saw was about how to make money by tomorrow which caught my eye. I was doing paid traffic and there is nothing wrong with paid traffic, it’s just that you don’t have an asset. When the money runs out, the traffic stops. If I would have built an online asset I would be still getting traffic all day long.

Having a blog is an online asset. It took me a long time to get my blog up and running but I wish I would have done this from the start and I think a lot of people first start with paid traffic. I think people see that cheap cost and fast results. But the number one thing you need is a online asset that can make the money without you being there. I wish 4 to 5 years ago I would have started 2 blogs and post content every day. By today years later I would have been making money. Blog post needs time to aged.

YouTube for an online asset:

YouTube is another asset you can build up to make money but I don’t know why people think that having a YouTube channel is not passive? Yeah you must upload videos but you can get views and make money while you sleep so that makes it passive to me. If you don’t have a YouTube channel, you need to get one. Again I wish I had do the blog and YouTube channel a long time ago. If I would have posted content every week, no telling where I be at today with more money.

This is why it’s so hard to make money online or start an online business cause it hard, 90% percent of paid courses only teach paid traffic, some people are lazy and want a push button software.
